Lara Dutta to endorse Kellogg's Special K

Kellogg India has appointed Bollywood actor and former Miss Universe Lara Dutta as the brand ambassador for its breakfast cereal brand Special K.

Kellogg's Special K is aimed at weight- and fitness-conscious women and offers them a weight management plan. It is a crunchy and convenient breakfast option made from honey-coated flakes of wheat and is 98 percent fat-free. Special K provides protein and fibre and is fortified with vitamins to meet the nutritional needs of Indian women.

WikiLeaks Changes Domain Name After Cyber Attacks

While still accessible by typing in the domain number, people trying to access the site by typing WikiLeaks into a search engine or their browser will not be successful.
The US-based provider, EveryDNS.net, took the controversial site offline earlier today, claiming that the constant hacking attacks were so powerful that they were damaging its other customers.
It said it had become the "target of multiple distributed denial of service attacks" which threatened the stability of its structure.
The domain name is currently inaccessible. However, the site is still available through the url:http://46.59.1.2/. Also, WikiLeaks has said it had registered its new domain name in Switzerland. 

The action by EveryDNS, which provides around 500,000 Web sites, followed a decision on Wednesday by Amazon.com Inc. to expel WikiLeaks, the whistle-blowing organization, from its servers, although it remains on the servers of a Swedish host, Bahnhof, as it continues to anger the United States by publicizing a huge array of some 250,000 leaked State Department documents relating to American foreign policy around the globe.

Godrej Consumer Products Buys Genteel And Swastik Shikakai

Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has acquired liquid detergent brand'Genteel' and hair wash soap 'Swastik Shikakai' for an undisclosed amount.
GCPL has acquired 100% stake in Naturesse Consumer Care Products Limited (NC) and Essence Consumer Care Products Limited (EC) from Muskan Projects Private Limited .
NC and EC own Swastik Shikakai and Genteel, respectively.

Both the above brands, which were earlier owned by the Sarabhai family, were later bought out by the Mumbai-based Priya Kothari family two decades ago, which are now keen on focusing on their engineering business.

GCPL has been on an acquisition spree over the past couple of years. Its acquistions include personal care brands Rapidol and Kinky in South Africa, Tura - a medicated personal care brand in West Africa, Indonesia-based household care company Megasari Group, and Issue Group andArgencos - two hair colorant companies in Argentina.

The Google logo, which is what millions of folks see every day when they start up their Internet, has been the topic of much discussion, the stuff a techie geek's dreams are made of. But some are crying foul over this particular Doodle. Well, it's because Google seems to have paid no attention World AIDS Day. Alas, not a single red ribbon appears anywhere on the Google homepage. No mention of AIDS of any kind!
