Trivia: This ad campaign was against the much hyped Airtel Half Marathon. The ad featured like a poster on all daily newspapers talks about not believing in half-measures and instead talks about all the offers of Virgin Mobile.

Saul Bass: Graphic designer


Saul Bass was a renowned graphic designer, best known for his work in the film industry and the design of some of the most important corporate identities in the United States.
Among them are AT&T, United Airlines, Minolta, Bell and Warner Communications. He also designed the poster for the Summer Olympics in 1984.


Ogilvy on recession


To cope up with the economic downturn, advertising major Ogilvy & Mather has kick started a special project called ‘Ogilvy on Recession’. The main objective behind O&M’s new initiative is to provide its clients strategies and tactics across marketing disciplines to tide over the slowdown.

As part of its new advertising campaign, marking the 20th anniversary of its legendary slogan "Just Do It", Nike introduced "The Human Race". The Race was a global 10 km race series participating in 25 global cities on 31.8.2008.
