Canon ropes in Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma has now been signed up as the brand ambassador of Canon cameras. They will launch a new Rs 30 crore marketing campaign for its compact camera brand PowerShot. 
The appointment of Sharma as a brand ambassador is in addition to Canon's existing face -- Sachin Tendulkar.

Allen Solly got a new look, 'Stag' logo

Allen Solly has adopted a contemporary version of the Stag as its new brand mark. The new mnemonic was first seen in their Coat of Arms. A true testimony to Allen Solly’s aristocratic British heritage, the Coat of Arms featured elements such as the Allen Solly Monogram, the Ram and the Stag, elements that represented the culture of the company and its products. The Ram was symbolic of the English wool industry and Allen Solly’s place within it while the Stag was representative of the city of Nottingham, wherein lays the brand roots.

Mandhana to launch entire range at Being Human stores

The Mumbai-based textiles and apparel firm Mandhana Industries, which has the exclusive license to manufacture, distribute and retail Salman Khan's 'Being Human' apparel range worldwide, has revised its earlier plans to launch only menswear range at the Being Human stores, and the company now plans to unveil the entire range consisting of menswear, womenswear and accessories.

Emami enters glucose drink segment under Zandu brand

Kolkata-based FMCG firm Emami is foraying into the glucose energy drink category under the Zandu brand as part of plans to strengthen its product portfolio.
The company that has been test marketing the 'Zandu Gluco Charge' in West Bengal is planning to launch the product across the country within a year in a phased manner.
