Tata Elxsi & A Squared Entertainment came together to create kids content

Tata Elxsi and international children's entertainment company A Squared Entertainment (A2) have formed a joint venture. The JV will create, develop and distribute original brands, including animated entertainment and digital gaming.


"This venture will combine the best of creative and marketing skills from Hollywood and the animation production experience and scale of Visual Computing Labs of Tata Elxsi to create meaningful and purposeful content of which we can all be proud of," said Tata Elxsi MD and CEO Madhukar Dev.

Brand Ambassador - Shahid Kapoor : Elf Moto4 Gold

Elf Moto4 Gold, part of Total Oil (India), has launched a new outdoor campaign featuring Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor as its new brand ambassador.


The ad's theme focuses on winning and better performance. It has the young actor resting against a bike, with the copy reading 'Raasta mudh sakta hai, hausla nahi'.

Brand Ambassador - Junior NTR : Emami Navratna

Emami has signed Telugu actor Junior NTR as the brand ambassador for Navratna products - primarily Navratna oil and Navratna cool talc. For the fact, Navratna brand was previously endorsed by another Telugu actor Mahesh Babu. Ntr's Navratna Oil ad will be directed by SS Rajamouli and is designed for the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Starbucks has revealed a new logo in an attempt to push into new markets.

The world's biggest coffee company has dropped the words encircling its iconic sea nymph on its mugs as the group prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary in March.
The move is part of a broader rebranding that will affect the look and feel of stores and include new formats in the UK.

Sara Lee is selling its shoe care business

Sara Lee Corporation, the $13-billion Illinois-based consumer goods conglomerate, agreed to sell its global shoe care business, including the world renowned Kiwi brand, to privately held SC Johnson, for $328 million.
The deal comes after SC Johnson acquired the global household insecticides business of Sara Lee that included brands such as Bloom and Catch for $188 million in June 2010.

Breakup of gadget pioneer Motorola is complete


Motorola, the 82-year-old consumer electronics pioneer responsible for early televisions, cell phones and even the first broadcast from the moon, split into two companies.
Motorola, which emerged as a manufacturer of car radios in the 1930s, evolved into a highly diverse business by the turn of the century, selling a host of products and solutions from cutting-edge smartphones to public safety systems.
As separate companies — Mobility, targeting consumers, and Solutions, for professionals — the two will have simpler stories to tell investors and a nimbler approach to developing cutting-edge products such as tablet computers.
Sanjay Jha, CEO of the consumer-focused Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc., said in an interview that the new company will benefit from a narrower focus, all the way up to the top management and the board of directors.

Did the Rio 2016 Olympics Steal Their New Logo?

Like the London 2012 debacle before it, the new identity was launched to much fanfare, unveiled on New Year’s Eve on Rio’s Copacabana Beach, reportedly in front of nearly two million people. However, unlike London, since the big reveal the attention hasn’t been so much on the look and feel of the logo itself  but instead, if it was stolen. Comparisons have been made between the new Olympics logo and that of the non-profit, Colorado-based Telluride Foundation, both of which feature bright, uni-colored silhouettes holding hands in a circular formation.
