Bol Niti Bol - Online fiction show from Balaji Telefilms

ALT Entertainment, the new age content production brand from Balaji Telefilms, has launched Bol Niti Bol, an online fiction show on YouTube, Mid-Day.com and Rediff.com. The show content will be refreshed twice a week and there will be a total of 17 episodes of Bol Niti Bol.

Bol Niti Bol is the story of Niti, an average young girl who will chronicle her daily life through each episode of the show. Each episode shot on webcam will be Niti’s video diary about what new has happened in her life, who has she met recently, the boy she likes, her crushes, how she handles people who hits on her, in short everything which happens in a young girl’s daily life.

Mastiii - a new music and comedy channel

Sri Adhikari Brothers Ltd (SAB) officially launched its music and comedy channel Mastiii. The channel will play Bollywood music, mixed with comedy acts by comedians like Raju Srivastava, Sunil Pal, Suresh Menon, Shailesh Lodha, and Kiki Sharda. The 24-hour free-to-air channel will have 75 per cent music and the remaining 25 per cent will be comedy content.
The three ‘i’ at the end of Mastiii denotes the musical notes, while the logo has a butterfly with speakers in the place of eyes. It depicts the “masti ka keeda” feel.

Germany is all set to take Legal Actions against Facebook


Facebook has more privacy trouble on it's hands as an official in Germany decides to take legal action against the social giant.

A German data protection official said Wednesday he launched legal proceedings against Facebook, which he accused of illegally accessing and saving personal data of people who don’t use the social networking site.

Johannes Caspar said his Hamburg data protection office had initiated legal steps that could result in Facebook being fined tens of thousands of euros for saving private information of individuals who don’t use the site and haven’t granted it access to their details.

“We consider the saving of data from third parties, in this context, to be against data privacy laws,” Caspar said in a statement.

A new smartphone from German sports company Puma is been launched through a partnership with France's Sagem Wireless. It has an integrated solar cell and an eco-metering function that displays all the resulting energy savings.
With a tablet form factor, a 2.8-inch thumbable screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a VGA video call camera, the Puma Phone is available for an estimated retail price of EUR 399.
The Puma phone comes with maps of Europe with pedestrian navigation. The phone is also loaded with email and full Web browsing capabilities, a scratch-turntable-simulating MP3 player, a “sarcastic” calculator, and Puma phone-to-Puma phone picture sharing technology.

Nestle India has made Bollywood actoress Deepika Padukone as the brand ambassador for coffee brand Nescafe. This would be the first such celebrity association for Nescafe in its existence in India.
