Brand Ambassador - Dia Mirza : Body Shop
Actress Dia Mirza named the brand ambassador of Britain-based personal care products retailer The Body Shop. This is the first time the brand has appointed anyone to promote their products in India.
David Smith, Asia Pacific managing director, The Body Shop, feels this is the right time to create awareness about the brand, which is known for it's eco-friendly product range. " India is one of the fastest growing markets for our group. To reach out to our new customers, we are adapting ourselves in every ethical way. This step will take the brand to the next level," Smith told IANS. The company, a 100-percent subsidiary of French cosmetics giant L'Oreal, was introduced in India four years back and today they have around 65 stores in 25 cities.
PepsiCo's ‘Social Vending System’
PepsiCo's ‘Social Vending System’, a network-ready, touch-screen interactive vending machine designed to foster greater connection with PepsiCo brands.
The machine allows beverage buyers to purchase drinks as gifts and to offer them to friends, or anyone else, in the form of redeemable codes delivered via text messages. The buyer simply enters the recipient's name, mobile number, a personal message, and an optional video message, and then sends the gift code into the ether. The recipient can then obtain the paid-for beverage at his or her convenience.

Gwyneth Paltrow has landed her newest job yet and that’s being Coach’s ambassador, a brand well-known for its luxury leather goods, especially the bags.
Reed Krakoff, the company’s president and executive creative director said that Gwynie is a “natural choice… she embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.” Agreeably, she does have a natural elegance in her and Gwyneth is also one stylish lady.
