Jaypee Sports to sponsor Karun Chandhok

Jaypee Sports International (JPSI) entered into a partnership with Hispania Racing Team´s driver Karun Chandhok which means his HRT F1 Team´s race car will carry the Jaypee Group logo.

About JPSI
JPSI, a Jaypee Group company, is currently constructing a 5.14km long first world-class motor racing circuit near Greater Noida, at a distance of about 40km from New Delhi. This circuit is expected to host the inaugural F1 race in India in October/November 2011.

Karun Chandhok, who currently drives for the Spanish Hispania Racing Team and is the only Indian driver of the F1 grid, won the Formula Asia Championship in 2001 and the Formula Asia V6 Renault Championship in 2006. Before entering F1, Karun drove in the GP2 Series for three years, winning two races.

Puma launches Bolt Collection



The ‘Bolt Collection’ incorporates Bolt’s favourite colours, preferred styles and silhouettes and will includes apparel, footwear and accessories. Cornerstone of the collection is the ‘Bolt Crest’ which sits on a backdrop of a track and the sun burst symbolizes Bolt’s home country of Jamaica.

PUMA’s design teams worked closely with Usain Bolt during the product development phase and gave him an opportunity to wear-test the products to ensure they met his rigorous standards.

Stella McCartney to design Team GB kit for London 2012 Olympics


The Sportwear for Team GB is supplied by long-time sponsor Adidas, who have announced that McCartney would add a touch of glamour to Team GB's kit.
While she won't be responsible for competition kit, Team GB officials expect her to design the uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies. Another outfit may also be designed for any athlete involved in podium presentations.

It is the first time in the history of the Games a designer has been taken on board to design the teams' kit, with Adidas having now provided kit for Team GB since 1984.

Saad Mohseni (born April 23, 1966) is an Afghan-Australian who, along with his brothers Zaid and Jahid Mohseni and sister Wajma Mohseni, returned to his native Afghanistan in 2002 to establish the Moby Group, Afghanistan's largest media company with interests in television, radio, print, production, online news services, directories, IT&T, and retail. Prior to Moby Group, Saad Mohseni worked in equities and finance and as an investment banker in Australia and the United Kingdom

Al Pacino does his first-ever product endorsement, for an Australian coffee.

For the first time in his professional career, Al Pacino needs money badly enough to endorse something. That something is Vittoria coffee, an Australian brand whose original founders were Italian immigrants, which is part of the reason they chose Pacino.


However in 2008 for the movie Righteous Kill, luxury watch brand Tutima did used his image along with Robert De Niro.

Against this both of them accused Tutima of false advertising and right of publicity violations. Pacino's representatives released a statement that the actor "has never commercially endorsed any product or service in the United States.”

Look Fairer on Facebook

Vaseline has made a new application for users on Facebook to promote its fairness cream for men. What is more interesting is what the application actually does. Using the app, users can make the skin tone on their profile pics a few shades lighter so that they can "preview" their look should they become fairer after using the cream.

If Lady Gaga can claim to have been the first person to get 10 million friends on Facebook, Starbucks is the first brand to do so.
The company’s audience of 10 million people around the world has been hard won with marketing, promotions and advertising. Over the years Starbucks has given away free ice cream on Facebook, been recognized by Facebook and was also the most popular brand.
