Starbucks has joined with Lurpak owner Arla Foods to launch a chilled range of ready-to-drink coffees Starbucks Discoveries. It consists of three latte-based drinks plain Seattle, chocolate-flavoured Aztlàn Mocha and caramel-flavoured Oandi.

Yahoo's "Who Knew?" got Toyota as its sponsor

Yahoo News has partnered with the Reveille (production firm) and got Toyota to launch a new daily Web series -- Who Knew? -- that will expound on the site's most popular news story of a given day.

Who Knew? is aimed at providing a mainstream Web audience with snack-sized features on lesser known aspects of whatever topics are making news at that moment.

While Toyota is using Who Knew? to promote the Toyota Avalon. Besides running a "brought to you by" message prior to each episode along with an adjacent banner, Toyota will receive a branding element within the show, including a sponsored "Comforting Fact" that will appear within the show each week.

Kin Phone by Microsoft



Microsoft has launched its Kin phone, which is pitched as a device designed specifically "for people who are actively navigating their social lives." Kin was code-named "Pink" Its pitted as "The Social Media Sociologist". The phone is also the first to access Microsoft's Zune music service.
