Godrej Group, in partnership with has launched their customer connect initiative where consumers can make their own fantasy cricket team while buying Godrej products to win prizes during the IPL season.

Each consumer who buys a Godrej product from any of the categories ranging from soaps to furniture will have to sms the ‘Godrej’ or log on to This will help the participant get the name of a cricketer for every distinct product registered along with the value assigned to the cricketer, as well as creating a virtual bank balance. Depending on the real life performances of the players, their values increase, giving the participants a better chance to win. If a participant is not satisfied with a particular cricketer’s performance and wants to exchange him for another, he can do that on the basis of their values.
