Bullet-proof buses for IPL

South Africa's Nicholls Steyn and Associates, hired by the Indian Premier League (IPL) to provide security solutions for the event, approached a Jalandhar-based company, Laggar Industry Limited (LIL), for supplying 16 bullet-proof buses and 64 bullet-proof SUVs for the players and officials.

Barbie got a new 500 on her 50th b'day

Barbie, one of the world's most popular and iconic dolls just celebrated her golden jubilee and received a special one-off Fiat 500 created by the company's Style Centre (Centro Stile) to commemorate the occasion.

BSNL & Micromax are offering 3G data cards in India

BSNL and Micromax have entered into an agreement for sale and distribution of 3G data cards.

Micromax has launched data cards in the USB form factor. The product weighs less than 50 gm and can be used along with both notebooks as well as in desktop. The product supports certain versions of Windows as well as Mac0 operating systems.
